While every day, I try to live up to being Green...and I'll write more about this later, I promise! I just wanted to put up a note about tomorrow, to remind everyone of the big political action tomorrow. Find an event that matches your comfort level, activity level, and committment level...
I don't know about Globally...but, if you are in the USA, April 14 is the National Day for Climate Action! [link]
Find an Event near you, or do something green tomorrow that will both be "green" and let our Congressional Legislators know it is time to get themselves in gear on effective, proactive, and actionable climate legislation that will improve our climates and ecosystems for the common and individual good!
I know the major national/ international organizations are participating: Sierra Club, National Defense Resources Council, Environmental Defense Council, MoveOn, LivingGreen, Climate Crisis Coalition and more. (That's not an official list, that's just who I can recall at the top of my head.)
Have a great "GREEN" Day!!! (And consider wearing green tomorr-....today, okay so it's today now!)
Remember the golden Rule....practice random acts of kindness and senseless acts of beauty (found the attribution: Anne Herbert authored the preceeding)....reach out and hug a fellow artist! (While respectfully recognizing their personal boundaries!) Quotes cited are not original...I only take responsibility for making utter nonsense of other human's thoughts through my personal mish-mash of wisdom derived by squinting into my tea-cup too long!

P.S. small update on the whole Avatar thingy- I got my image traced, filtered, set, sized, pixellated...and by the time it was small enough to fit onto Deviant....the colors muddied too much. Aaargh! And somehow, when I went back to fix it, my Illustrator file has no history, so I can't just go back and adjust the step to pop the colors. Anyone with thoughts on why there's no history is welcomed. Long story short? No avatar for a while longer!
This is a beginning. It is not THE beginning, but one of countless beginnings. I am but one of the countless millions of humans who have lived, dreamed and created. For me, this is another beginning. To shed light on the renderings of my mind, a departure from what is safe, from the planned path of my life, for another beginning. It is begun!
